What this app is

Ten Lists is a free, invite-only Bible reading app built around Professor Grant Horner's ten-list reading system. It is a personal, non-commercial project. Accounts exist only by invitation — there are no public signups.

What we collect

• Account: your email address and password. The password is stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider — we never see it.
• Reading data:your position in each reading list, completion state, and reading dates — the app's whole purpose.
• Preferences: display settings such as typography choices.
• Invitations:if you invite someone, we store the email address you entered and the invitation's status, to honor the invite and enforce sending limits.

What we don't do

• No analytics or tracking of any kind.
• No advertising.
• No selling or sharing of your data with anyone, for any purpose.
• The only cookies set are the session cookies required to keep you signed in.

Services we rely on

Your data is processed by a small set of infrastructure providers:

• Supabase — authentication and database, hosted in the United States. Row-level security ensures each account can only access its own data.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Resend — delivers invitation emails.
• Crossway (ESV API) — provides the scripture text and audio. Passage requests are proxied through our server; no information about your account is sent to Crossway.

Deleting your data

You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is immediate and irreversible: your account, reading history, preferences, and any invitation records carrying your email address are all removed. Nothing about you remains.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account exists, and no longer. There are no backups of deleted accounts.

Children

Ten Lists is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them.
